I began a Kickstarter campaign yesterday. Kickstarter is a funding platform that helps creative spirits, such as myself, fundraise money for their projects.
The way it works is all or nothing. I had to define a fundraising goal, £3,000 and deadline March 9. If I raise less than £3,000 I will not receive anything (and my ‘backers’ will not be charged either).

I am planning to record my first album. For the last 2 years I have been writing songs and performing. I have gotten to the point where I am ready to take this music to the next level. I want more people to hear it and I’d like to perform in larger venues. I need to have something tangible to offer to listeners that represents the real flavour of where I’m coming.
Together with my friend, drummer and producer Juanma Nieto and his band we will record an EP, 5 songs. The recording studio is available. The stars are aligned. I’m so excited to produce these songs as they were meant to be heard with these amazing musicians.
Your contribution covers the cost of the recording, hiring the band, mixing, mastering and producing the actual CD’s.
I will use the CD’s to send to venue owners to get gigs. The songs will be available on itunes and amazon to purchase for download. I plan on scheduling gigs in the UK and beyond.
I recognise that this music has a specific market, namely for people interested in spirituality, psychology, yoga, meditation. I want to cater to this market. I feel there isn’t enough humour in spiritual circles. People love to lighten up and laugh about what we care about most.
