This workshop will explore advanced adjustments like Supta Kurmasana, Urdhva Danurasana (backbends), Drop Backs and Adho Mukha Vrksasana (Handstand). Saturday & Sunday November 6 & 7, 2010

This will be a master class for Ashtanga teachers and advanced practitioners.A good grasp of the Ashtanga system is required. We will be discussing the practice, the body and the adjustments at a high level of understanding. This workshop will give you excellent tools to use in your classes. It will help you think about postures in new ways as well as enhance your own practice.
I am delighted to offer my unique insight, understanding and perspective on the art of adjustments. Over the course of these two days, the first of 3 modules, you will learn effective and great-feeling adjustments for all of the Standing Poses and the first half of Primary series.

I have developed these adjustments and ways of seeing the body over many years of teaching Mysore style Ashtanga, from my training as a Swedish and Thai massage therapist and from feeling yoga from the inside as an advanced practitioner. It is my great joy to be able to share it with you.
